Workflow, in five acts

How a project moves from a vague brief into something a team is proud to ship. No secrets, no theatre.

I.

Listen

Interviews, session replays, sales calls, support tickets. No pixels until the problem can be written on an index card.

II.

Frame

One-page brief. Constraints, success metric, non-goals. Signed by product and engineering before I open Figma.

III.

Sketch

Paper, then low-fidelity screens. I show three directions on purpose — two to reject, one to defend.

IV.

Build

High-fidelity in the real design system, in the real breakpoints, with the real copy. Prototypes tested with five users, minimum.

V.

Ship

Pairs with engineering during the sprint. QA on device. Post-launch review at 2 weeks and 8 weeks against the metric we agreed on.
